Mermaid Soluna
Known by her mersona “Mermaid Soluna,” Lauren Chu was the first Miss Mermaid USA to represent America at Miss Mermaid International 2016, where mermaids from around the world compete in mermaiding and modeling! Soluna won 2nd Runner-Up in the world finals and the award for Most Photogenic Underwater. She is now the National Co-Director of Miss Mermaid USA, mentoring mermaid queens and community activism in every state!
Soluna has brought the joy of mermaiding all over the world through her performances. After many years as “Hamptons Mermaid” in New York, Soluna is now based in Hawaii as Kauai’s premier resident mermaid!

Become a Mermaid
Have you ever wanted to be mermaid? Make your dream come true with a Kauai Mermaid Experience! Mermaid Soluna will teach you how to swim, snorkel and pose in a tail. You'll receive a unique photoshoot both above and below the water complete with clamkini shell top, mermaid crown and accessories!
This pool or beach experience can be for adults, children 5+, all genders, all experience levels and small groups.
Mermaid Parties
Have a kid’s birthday coming up? Make it a mermaid party! Invite a real mermaid to your pool or beach party as a special surprise and make it the most memorable birthday ever!
Soluna can make a 1-2 hour appearance for swimming and water games. She will also bring extra kids tails to share the mermaid joy! Packages can also include mermaid themed decor, invitations and handmade accessories for birthday gifts and goodie bags.
